Our country will not only get a lot of good in terms of tourism and economy by hosting EuroBakset, Georgia will also establish its place on European map even more clearly, – said Mikheil Kavelashvili, Head of the Parliament’s Sport and Youth Affairs Committee. He responded to EuroBasket Group Phase Matches that are going to be held in Georgia. He congratulated the society on this achievement. Congratulations to all! FIBA has chosen Georgia as one of the hosts of EuroBasket 2021! First of all, I would like to congratulate our Basketball Federation, who has done an enormous work for this huge victory! Also, I congratulate our basketball players, who have a chance to play in their own walls at the European Championship – this is a great honor and responsibility! Especially, I would like to congratulate our citizens, because, our country will not only get a lot of good in terms of tourism and economy, Georgia will establish its place on European map even more clearly and strengthen positions in the EU aspiration, which is significant for the future of our country!
