With the organization of Zaza Pachulia Academy and the support of the Georgian Basketball Federation, a new coaching program was launched today, which aims to train beginner coaches and share both theoretical and practical experience with them.
According to Nika Nibladze, one of the program leaders and lecturers, after passing the program, the coaches will have the opportunity to determine their future careers and, in case of mutual desire, start working at Zaza Pachulia Academy or any other basketball school or club.
The duration of the program is 6 months, during which the beginner coaches selected as a result of registration and interview will be given both theoretical and practical basketball lessons on a weekly basis.
Today, Davit Ustiashvili, a President of the Coaches’ Union, and his colleagues visited Nika Nibladze’s first seminar on the basics of basketball training. They got acquainted with the details of the project and gave its participants coaching literature, 5 types of brochures needed for healthy eating and coaching.
