Georgia U18 Woman's Team Defeated Moldova

On July 26th FIBA U18 Women’s Championship (“C” Division) took place in Andora. 6 countries together with Georgia: Albania, Andora, Gibraltar, Malta and Moldova are participating in tournament.

Our team successfully completed the group stage of Championship. First, Georgians beat Gibraltar and today they convincingly defeated Moldova, 75-52.

Lika Kvirkvelia with 14 points and 17 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block was most vulnerable player in our team.  Salome Svani became best scorer, as she collected 19 points. Eka Tsivtsivadze with 5 assists should be distinguished as well.

Georgia U18 Women’s team will have next game on June 30th. Our opponent will be revealed in Qualification game for Semi-Final.
