Georgian U20 team held friendly match against Netherland
Georgian U20 team held friendly match against Netherlands at “Tbilisi Arena”. Georgia has defeated its opponent 80:71 in Istanbul, on July 9th, however this time Netherlands won the match. Players who are getting ready for European U20 Championship indeed performed better and convincingly won the match with score 77:60. We should distinguish Nikoloz Gaprindashvili with 18 points and 6 rebounds among Georgians. Luka Liklikadze collected 9 point, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. Giorgi Saralidze’s play should be outlined as well, he scored 8 points and 6 rebounds in total.
We remind you that U20 European Championship (“B”) Division will start on July 15th. At group phase, Georgia will face Kosovo, Austria and Sweden and North Macedonia. As for Netherlands, they will have to play against Iceland, Estonia, Luxembourg and Romania.
